CoPA member Michael Nowotny has published a book, and will be on hand to talk about the making of Stadiums of America. he will share his photographic journey across the country, and his experience making and publishing the book.

Kevin Hansen: Photographic Art without a Camera

There are many creative ways to make photographic art that don’t involve cameras or lenses. CoPA President Kevin Hansen will be giving a discussion on these various methods. Techniques include ways to expose photographic paper, like simple photograms to various forms of manipulation of that paper, such as chemigrams. In addition, we will hear about repurposing existing photos to make new works. Get inspired!

Photo Reviews

Beginning at 5:30, and going until the meeting starts, at 6:30, we will be holding photo reviews in small groups. Anybody who wishes to participate may bring three to five photos to share and discuss. Tablets or laptops are best, but prints work too. Join when you arrive, the earlier the better, and enjoy some food and drink at the same time!
