Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”
Marc Riboud

In 2004, a group of photographers, printers, and media professionals united to share ideas, refine techniques, and support one another. This collaboration emerged to create CoPA, an organization dedicated to advancing photographic arts in Milwaukee. By 2005, CoPA became a 501(c)(3), with a growing membership and a mission to foster photography in the region.

To celebrate 20 years of CoPA, we are publishing a book showcasing the incredible fine art photography created by our members over the years. We invite you to submit your work for consideration as we curate a collection that represents our photographers, community, and achievements.

We’re looking for images that reflect your voice, perspective, and artistic evolution. Whether it’s your most memorable piece or a recent favorite, we welcome all genres—portraiture, landscapes, abstracts, and beyond. Your unique vision will help us highlight the depth and diversity of CoPA artists. Join us in capturing two decades of creativity. We can’t wait to see your work!
