CoPA is pleased to offer our members our inaugural round of professional portfolio reviews with MoWA’s own Graeme Reid! These 30-minute sessions offer a unique opportunity to review your working portfolio, collection, or body of work and receive inciteful feedback, critique, perspective, and advice on direction. Graeme Reid is an accomplished curator, educator, and judge, and is excited to connect with CoPA artists in these one-on-one sessions.
About Graeme Reid
Born in Bishopton, Scotland, Graeme Reid holds degrees from the University of Glasgow and Indiana State University. Since 1993 he has worked at the Swope Art Museum (Terre Haute, IN), the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette (Lafayette, IN), the John Michael Kohler Arts Center (Sheboygan, WI), and the Museum of Wisconsin Art (West Bend, WI), the latter for twenty-two years and currently as Senior Curator. An experienced curator, he has curated many exhibitions notably Tom Jones: Here We Stand, John Steuart Curry in Wisconsin, There’s A Place: John Shimon & Julie Lindemann, David Lenz: People on the Periphery, Gerit Grimm’s Fairytales, Joe Friebert: A Retrospective, and Michael Knapstein: Midwest Memoir. He has also judged on the local, regional, and national levels as well as being a frequent public speaker and lecturer.
What to Expect
Bring up to 12 images with you to review with Graeme. These can be digital (Laptop or Tablet) or printed. If there is a specific series or body or work you’ve been putting together that’s great! Graeme also recommends including a few images you are partial to that may be outside of your target scope, as well. Ergo, select 8 images to represent your portfolio or body of work, and an additional 4 images that fall outside of the core collection to provide a wider scope of your work and vision.

Please Note:
We are limiting this round to six sessions only, and will be running a tight timetable. In consideration of time with regard to Mr. Reid and others, it is important to be punctual. Arrive early and enjoy brunch at Wonderland or a hot drink at Art★Bar.
