Dan Kattman | Egypt, Jordan and Morocco
Join us as CoPA member Dan Kattman focuses on his travels through Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco in December 2025 and January 2026, with a discussion on what made these trips both rewarding and frustrating for film and digital photography. He will discuss what equipment he used, what he would have done differently, and the unique environmental and cultural opportunities and limitations these destinations have for landscape and street photography. He will also discuss and answer questions on how to plan trips to these destinations and what to expect as a photographer.
Dan Kattman is a shareholder at the law firm Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, where he practices intellectual property, entertainment, and advertising law. When Dan is not representing software developers, documentary filmmakers, authors, social media influencers, and ad agencies, Dan is traveling the world seeking adventure. Dan is not your typical corporate attorney. Shunning suits and ties, he loves to escape to places off the beaten path as a traveler rather than merely a tourist. In 2025 and early 2026, Dan traveled to Japan, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco, as well as several remote parts of the Southwestern United States.

Andy Holman | AI Tools
AI continues to be an ever-present photography discussion. Many AI tools have been developed for photographers in the past few years, and new ones appear regularly. The presentation will look at some of the newer tools using Lightroom Classic as an example. This will include masking, color, noise reduction and removal of unwanted reflections and other items. We will also discuss effective use of AI to produce the desired photo.
Schmooze and Photo Reviews
Beginning at 5:30, and going until the meeting starts at 6:30, we will continue to host photo reviews in small groups. Anyone who wishes to participate is encouraged to bring three to five photos to share and discuss. Tablets or laptops are best but prints work too. Join when you arrive, the earlier the better, and enjoy some food and drink at the same time!
