Member Exhibition | Cindy Lesky and Sara Risley in "Nature Abstracted"

"Nature Abstracted" offers viewers a unique perspective of the natural world, and features photographs by CoPA members Cindy Lesky and Sara Risley. The exhibition will be held at Emily Oaks Nature Center in the Woodland Wander Inn (Skokie IL). It opens with a reception on June 28 from 7pm - 9 pm, and closes August 30. Gallery hours are: 8 am - 5 pm weekdays, 8 am - 4 pm Saturdays, and 10 am - 4 pm Sundays.

Member Exhibition | Colleen Gunderson at Riverfront Arts Center

CoPA member Colleen Gunderson's photographs “Fog Fence” and "Windowsill in Winter" were chosen for Visions XV, a juried exhibition featuring art in various media, at the Riverfront Arts Center in Stevens Point, WI. "Fog Fence" received an Honorable Mention.

On display through July 21, Visions XV features new works by 70 local and regional artists. This multimedia exhibition represents of a variety of creative expression; including ceramics, mixed media, photography, watercolor, wood sculpture and more. Juror Dan O'Neal states the work chosen is "authentic...with a voice of its own", manifested "in the brilliant use of materials, colors, and/or audacity of usage in unique ways".

Member Exhibition | Jerry Styberg "Reflections"

Images by Wauwatosa photographer Jerry Styberg will be on exhibit at the Riveredge Nature Center in Newburg, WI. Styberg's work captures visual and often abstract impressions from his experience of the interplay between light, water and subject. The “Reflections” series is both a literal and interpretive response to natural beauty and form and suggests contemplation of our intimate connection to nature.
